Crime rate down by 17% due to ‘Yukthiya’: Public Security Minister

Addressing a media conference yesterday, Public Security Minister  Tiran Alles said "The country’s crime rate had shrunk by 17% during last month and this has been due to the ongoing ‘Yukthiya’ anti-narcotic operation, initiated by the Sri Lanka Police".
