Budget 2023 - Tea party in parliament

President Ranil Wickremesinghe in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilisation and National Policies presented the Budget for the Year 2023 to Parliament today. The traditional tea party was held at the Parliament premises after the budget speech. Government and opposition MPs as well as diplomats including ambassadors were present at the tea party.
