All in one digital wallet for Sri Lankans

A digital wallet containing all-important details of the person will be introduced to all citizens after the issuance of a Digital National Identity Card, Minister Namal Rajapaksa said.The Minister further stated that it would allow citizens to keep their essential personal documents, including passports, birth certificates, marriage certificates and exam certificates in a ‘digital wallet’ on their mobile phones. He said the project was expected to be completed within 30 months.
