“Once upon a time, there was an Evil Prince, who when his Father King was away on an important foreign errand, was entrusted to run the kingdom and run it he did”. He then proceeded to behave like a spoilt bratty Baby Doc Duvalier, bringing disrepute to all while squandering the wealth of the nation. His subsequent abdication from the throne when he heard of his angry father’s arrival back and his metamorphosis into an arrogant cocky peacock could be compared to the transformation of the Black Queen in Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, the finale of the famous English story of ‘The Disobedient Prince’.
