The Miracle by TGC Havelock

‘The Miracle’, a nativity play was presented by TGC Havelock on 17 December 2023 at the Havelock City Clubhouse. 

Two compelling stories set 2,000 years apart, entwined through divine encounters. A unique theatre experience inspired by a true story. Directed by Shewan Jayaweera, the play was written by Irandi Gunaratne, Kaushalya Gunaratne, Dilkusha De Costa, and Roshani Fernando; and produced by Kaushalya Gunaratne, Irandi Gunaratne, and Shewan Jayaweera. 

The credits of this Christmas season production also include: Music and vocal director: Naphtali Mendis; music arrangement: Adriel Daniel; costumes: Michael Wijesuriya; make up: Michael Wijesuriya, Savisha Batcho. 

The thespian talent included the following cast: Nelly Gooneratne, Shewan Jayaweera, Chenelle Siriwardena, Aquil Kuraishy, Nadia Marikar, Ivyin Jesumaney, Sadesh Abesinghe, Katie Speldewinde, Sara Silva, Kaushalya Gunaratne, Binoth Madurasinghe, Irandi Gunaratne, Yohan Gunaratne, Shannon Siriwardena, and  Yohan Logendran.
