The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf expands to the Maldives

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is making its mark in the Maldives as part of its ongoing international expansion efforts.

Under a master franchise agreement with Waterscape Investments Ltd., a key player in Maldivian hospitality, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is set to open cafes across the archipelago from the third quarter of 2024 

The move aims to introduce the brand’s signature beverages to both locals and tourists, offering them a unique coffee and tea experience.

“This expansion represents a step forward in our growth strategy, allowing us to share our passion for coffee and tea with even more people around the world, and we look forward to establishing ourselves as a beloved brand in the Maldives,” said The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Chief Development Officer Yousif Abdulghani.

“We are confident that the brand’s rich heritage and exciting coffee and tea offerings, combined with our deep-rooted expertise in the Maldivian hospitality, will create a winning partnership for success,” added Waterscape Investments CEO Hussain Hilmy.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf said it is also actively seeking franchise opportunities worldwide, aiming to grow its presence across various regions.
