TAKE on Art × KALĀ, a cross-border contemporary arts platform will take place in Colombo over the opening weekend of 17–18 January 2026, with the exhibition open to the public until 15 February 2026.
This edition marks a meaningful collaboration between TAKE on Art and KALĀ South Asia, and reflects our shared commitment to building sustained regional dialogue and positioning Sri Lanka as an active hub for cross-border artistic exchange.
KALĀ 2026 brings together exhibitions, live performance, workshops, walkthroughs, and critical conversations that explore memory, materiality, reconciliation, and contemporary artistic practice across South Asia and its diasporas. It has been carefully shaped as a space for thoughtful exchange—between artists, curators, writers, collectors, and cultural practitioners working across the region.
