Sri Lanka’s National Latin Champions Ryan and Sharanya to represent nation in Moscow

National Champions of Amateur Latin Dance – Sri Lanka, Ryan Wijesundara and Sharanya Dias

Sri Lanka’s top Latin dance duo, Ryan Wijesundara and Sharanya Dias, will represent the nation at the prestigious ‘Summer Rhythms’ International DanceSport Championships in Moscow, Russia, this week. As 5-time National Latin Champions and seasoned international competitors, Ryan and Sharanya are the only dancers selected from Sri Lanka and the South Asian region for this world-class event.

Organised by the All Russian Federation of DanceSport, Breaking and Acrobatic Rock’n’Roll (FDSARR) as part of the World Cup series, the championship brings together elite dancers from across the globe. Ryan and Sharanya have been generously sponsored by the organisers, who are covering their flights, logistics, meals, and accommodation.

This milestone opportunity was made possible through a special invitation extended by Aleena Tan, a respected figure in the global dance community.
