Sri Lanka Tamil Women’s Union ‘Variety Sale’ on 4 March

The Sri Lanka Tamil Women’s Union (SLTWU) has organised a ‘Variety Sale’ of various products and services ranging from food items to clothes and accessories to mark Easter and the Sinhala and Tamil New Year on Saturday, 4 March from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Women’s International Club, Guildford Crescent, Colombo 7. 

The fundraising event is to help the community in various ways. It is also an initiative to encourage entrepreneurs to showcase their creativity, products and services. The SLTWU is 114 years old and home to ‘Kalalaya’ School of Dance and Music, which was founded in 1942.
