Roger Menezes back at Galadari Colombo

The Galadari Colombo, warmly welcomes back the ever-popular Roger Menezes to perform at the Lobby Bar. 

His spellbinding performances have been warmly welcomed as always by the Galadari Colombo. Roger’s performances are on till 4 March 2023. He brings to life the Lobby Bar every Thursday to Sunday 7.30 p.m. onwards.

Roger Menezes performed with many top bands in Sri Lanka in the 60's and 70's. He had his own group “Roger and the Webs” and played drums for the “Savages”, “Thunderbirds” and the “Fireflies”. 

Roger played guitar for “Sam the Man” and the “Jetliners”. He migrated to Sydney Australia in 1973 and has since then visited the island a few times. He is now back to ignite his musical memories here in Sri Lanka. Roger had his own group, in Australia, named “Stay Tuned”, which performed at corporate functions and other such events. “Stay Tuned” also participated in the musical section for the Sydney 2000 Olympics. They also did the New Year’s Eve scene, for five consecutive years, at the Sydney landmark Centre Point Tower.

Roger will definitely bring back the popular 60’s and 70’s vibes with his music at the Galadari Colombo. You now know where to spend your evenings and experience the best in music. This will undoubtedly be an entertainment experience that should not be missed.
