It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas as KCC WorldSpice held its annual Christmas Cake Mixing Ceremony at its newly opened banquet hall. High-quality, hand-picked dried fruits, assorted nuts, spices and spirits were arranged in an exquisite style to soak ingredients in and were mixed for exotic dough preparation to mature in time for Christmas.

The ceremony was started with the blessings of the Bishop of Kandy Most Rev. Dr. Valence Mendis, the Bishop Emeritus Diocese of Kandy Most Rev. Dr. Viyani Fernando, and other Rev. Fathers who joined KCC Chairman Thusitha Wijayasena, Mrs. Wijayasena, KCC tenants staff and KCC staff with this year’s annual ritual.

Addressing distinguished guests, Wijayasena said, “KCC is a place where every religion and every ethnic group is treated equally and work as one team to achieve their corporate goals. We celebrate every religious and ethnic festival in order to be an example to the society and to make a better society for every Sri Lankan to live in harmony.”

Those interested can buy the KCC WorldSpice Signature Christmas Cake made using the finest ingredients, from KCC F&B outlets during the month of December.
