American superhero film “Thunderbolts” now showing in 21 Lankan cinemas

American superhero film Thunderbolts is being now shown in 21 cinemas in Sri Lanka.

They are Kandy City Centre, Liberty by Scope Kollupitiya, Liberty by Scope Kiribathgoda, Colombo City Centre, SCOPE cinema - Havelock City Mall, PVR Cinema, Milano Kegalle, Chaya Kegalle, Majestic SUPERIOR Colombo, Regal Katubedda, Regal Gampaha, Regal Nuwara Eliya, Regal Dematagoda, Aqua Lite – Negambo, Sky Lite – Matara, Maxx Lite – Moratuwa, Vijayanthi Lite – Kaduwela, Voxx Lite – Avissawella, Vijaya - Minuwangoda, NIT Cinema – Ratnapura and Ram Cinema.

Thunderbolts film is based on Marvel Comics featuring the team Thunderbolts. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Jake Schreier from a screenplay by Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo, and stars an ensemble cast featuring Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. In the film, a group of antiheroes are caught in a deadly trap and forced to work together on a dangerous mission.

Ensnared in a death trap, an unconventional team of antiheroes – Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker – embarks on a dangerous mission that forces them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.
