AIDEX 2025 Festival tomorrow

AIDEX Festival, an annual celebration of courage and talent, organised by the Colombo Friend-in-Need Society (CFINS), will take place tomorrow (31) at the Air Force Grounds, Colombo from 9 a.m.

Since its first festival in 1991, this much looked forward to sporting event for the beneficiaries of prosthetic limbs, has stood the test of time as a beacon of hope, inclusion and resilience. With more than 65 track and field events, wheelchair races, bicycle races, archery and a cricket tournament, this year’s edition of AIDEX will bring together participants, from across the island. With the youngest eight-year-old participant to inspiring 87-year-old, senior most participant, AIDEX 2025 will testify to the spirit and power of inclusion through sport. More than a sports meet, the event is also a powerful statement that a prosthetic limb-user is more than able and deserves equal opportunities in life.
