Day two of HSBC Colombo Fashion Week Resort Wear Show was held at the Lighthouse Hotel Galle on Sunday with models showcasing designs of nine designers. With the mighty sea as the backdrop, the show kicked off with the acclaimed designer Bibi Russell showcasing a simple and chic collection of blacks and whites with Lankan born Sonali closing the show with a brilliantly colourful and fun collection as the grand finale. This is the second Resort Wear Show by HSBC CFW and aims at giving local designers a competitive edge in designing fashion that they are most comfortable in, with a long term vision of making Sri Lanka a hub for resort wear fashion.
