William Angliss Institute at SLIIT celebrates 8th graduation ceremony

The William Angliss Institute at SLIIT proudly held its eighth graduation ceremony in style in the Ballroom, Shangri-La Colombo. 

Six Board Members from the William Angliss Institute, Australia, the Chairman and Board Members here in Sri Lanka, and distinguished VIP industry guests witnessed the success of the graduating students supported by their families and friends.

All graduating students received their William Angliss Institute, Australian qualification in the streams of Hospitality, Commercial Cookery and Events. The graduation had two sessions during the day where there were many smiles and great family photos taken – a truly amazing day for the graduating students to celebrate.

A number of students excelled in their studies and were awarded many medals and trophies including the Most Outstanding Students from each batch. The Guest Speakers for the graduation were two alumni students (Royston and Diarra). Both Royston and Diarra gave insight to the role William Angliss Institute at SLIIT provided and they inspired all in attendance with what they have already accomplished in the industry. A motivational speech was also provided by Nora Imeli to give the graduating students advice on moving onto the next chapter in their lives.
