The city day after clashes

Government supporters and anti-Government protestors clashed outside Temple Trees and Galle Face Green protest areas on Monday (9). The protestors were attacked and fire was set to buses going to Temple Trees. The situation escalated when the protestors started to retaliate, resulting in the Government declaring an island-wide curfew to control the situation.
