Multi-faith prayer morning held at HNB

Hatton National Bank held its bi-annual, multi-religious prayer morning at its Head Office recently.

Jonathan Alles, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, together with management and staff gathered together in readings and prayer, which were offered in the Buddhist, Hindu, Christian and Islamic faiths.

The morning started off with a Pirith ceremony followed by a Christian prayer service, an Islamic recital and a Hindu invocation. Blessings were offered and gratitude served for accomplishment of work and for creating an environment of co-operation, respect and kindness to one another.

Prayers were also offered for the continued success of the Bank, its leadership, management, shareholders, customers plus all stakeholders who are directly and indirectly connected to HNB.
