Harvard Asia Pacific Regional Conference successfully concludes in Colombo

The Harvard Club of Sri Lanka organised ‘Big Bold Brave 2024,’ a ground-breaking 3-day thought leadership conference successfully concluded on 5 April at the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo. The conclave is a collaboration of over 15 Harvard Clubs in the Asia Pacific region, the official Alumni Organisations of the prestigious Harvard University. The opening day saw around 150 participants including over 75 overseas delegates. Under the far-reaching theme of ‘Big Opportunities, Bold Moves, Brave People,’ the conference explores critical areas that shape the region’s future, with topics areas including education, human capital development and jobs of the future, technology, digital economy and entrepreneurship, modernising agriculture and food security, energy infrastructure development, and environmental sustainability and climate change adaptation. The diverse line-up comprises over 30 panellists and speakers, reflecting a breadth of expertise and experience across various industries. Daily FT was the print media partner of the event.
