Vatican confirms dates for Pope’s Lanka visit

Pope Francis has confirmed the dates for his Apostolic Trip to Sri Lanka early next year. The Press Office of the Holy See in a press communiqué issued yesterday said His Holiness Pope Francis would make the trip to Sri Lanka from 12-15 January 2015. He will travel to the Philippines thereafter, from 15-19 January, the press office said. The communiqué noted that the program for the Pope’s visit to both countries would be published shortly.
