Sumith new Cabinet Secretary

President Maithripala Sirisena appointed former career civil servant Sumith Abeysinghe as Cabinet Secretary yesterday. He was once the Secretary of Finance and Treasury. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) Degree in Geography (Sri Lanka) and a Master’s Degree in Economics (University of New England, Australia).
