Softlogic strikes Pasikudah hotel deal with Dubai’s Ominga

Softlogic Holdings (SHL) yesterday announced it has entered into a shareholders’ agreement with the shareholders of Ominga International (Private) Limited, a UAE based company for the construction of a luxury resort with 40 rooms and 20 luxury villas in Pasikudah.

According to the agreement, SHL owns 66.7% of Ominga for which SHL will be investing Rs. 200 m.

Softlogic said the investment will be made in tranches based on the funding requirements of Ominga for the construction.

Ominga is also the GSA for Mihin Lanka in the UAE as well, according to reports.
