SLIC to launch unit linked life insurance

To further reinforce leadership industry giant Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation said it will shortly launch a brand new life product for 2012/2103.

SLIC said it will be the key product to ward off competition.

“The product will be a unit linked product linked with the stock market and investment; and will be a launched by the end of this year. Even though we don’t have the first move advantage as some other companies have already launched this, we are confident that we will be able to get a strong position in the market,” SLIC Managing Director and CEO Mohan de Alwis said.
