Sathosa nets over Rs. 2.5 b sales for Avurudu

A turnover of over Rs. 2.5 billion was earned by all Sathosa, Lak Sathosa, Co-Op City and Mini Co-Op City outlets during their sales from 1 to 16 April this year.

This is the highest ever profit earned by Sathosa and the other Co-Ops within such a short time period.

The Ministry of Internal Trade and Cooperatives highlighted that the reasonable prices for quality goods ensured that more people did their Avurudu shopping at these Government outlets.

This profit was solely the amount collected during these 16 days of shopping during the month of April. (SS)
