Rs. 2.5 b debenture by Pradeshiya Snawardana Bank

The Pradeshiya Sanwardana Bank will be raising Rs. 2.5 billion via a listed debenture issue. It will issue 25 million unsecured subordinated redeemable debentures at Rs. 100 each. The Colombo Stock Exchange has approved in principle the application by the bank for the listing of the debt securities. The issue will officially open on 16 January whilst the public can subscribe from tomorrow. Managers and registrars to the issue are Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka.
