Nawaloka kicks off chain of peripheral hospitals

Nawaloka Hospitals (NHL) has announced plans to expand its healthcare facilities with a chain of peripheral hospitals. Each regional hospital will provide all diagnostic facilities, with 50 to 70 patient rooms for indoor patient admissions. The first hospital in the proposed chain will be located in Negombo and will be under NHL’s 100% owned subsidiary Nawaloka Medicare Ltd.  The total project cost will be approximately Rs. 575 m, including medical equipment, and will be financed through bank facilities.
