Maithri confirms Arjuna is responsible for Bond scam: Susil

UPFA General Secretary Susil Premakayantha yesterday alleged that President Maithripala Sirisena’s statement on Tuesday confirmed that Governor Arjuna Mahendran is responsible for the Central Bank Treasury Bond scam.

“President Sirisena has instructed Wickremesinghe to remove Arjuna Mahendran from his position. Wickremesinghe has not implemented that recommendation by the President yet. However President Sirisena’s order has showed that Mahendran was directly responsible for the issue,” Premajayantha said.
