LOLC buys 2% of Commercial Leasing for Rs. 650 m

Controlling shareholder LOLC yesterday increased its stake in Commercial Leasing and Finance Plc by 2% to 92% with an investment of Rs. 650 million. The stake amounting to 130 million shares was done above the market at Rs. 5 each via two crossings. Net asset value per share of Commercial Leasing was Rs. 1.31 as at 30 September 2013. The deal on Commercial Leasing accounted for 70% of the day’s turnover at the CSE. The share price of Commercial Leasing & Finance closed flat at Rs 4.10. As at September 2013, LOLC held 90.62% and the public float was 9%.
