Inflation picks up to 7.3%

Reuters: Sri Lanka’s annual inflation rate in May picked up to 7.3%, from 6.4% a month earlier, according to data released by the Department of Census and Statistics on Friday. Annual average inflation, measured on a 12-month moving basis, was steady at a record high of 8.8% for the third straight month, data showed.
