Employees Provident Fund (EPF) on Tuesday bought 1 million shares in Aitken Spence Hotel Holdings (AHU) for Rs. 78 million.
With the acquisition, EPF now owns 20.9 million shares or 6.2% stake in AHU, up from 4.99% as at 31March, 2011. The seller was Carson Group’s Ceylon Investment Plc.
