Dinal doubles quitting

Dinal Wijemanne has resigned once again from the Board of Directors of The Finance Company Plc.

This time around his resignation was as Alternate Director to Anura Fernando.

Originally Wijemanne quit the TFC Board early this month after he sold 2.9 million shares at Rs. 50 each to NSB as part of a consortium of sellers of 8 million shares for Rs. 390 million. Thereafter he consented to be reappointed as alternate to Fernando.

Wijemanne is also the CEO of Taprobane Securities, buying broker of NSB as well as bulk of the sellers.
