Dhammika gets 50%+ control of Hayleys

Business leader Dhammika Perera and connected parties have recently secured 50% plus control in Hayleys Plc, one of the most respected and diversified conglomerates.

The development follows Dhammika who is also Non Executive Co-Chairman of Hayleys, acquiring 0.44% stake i.e 210,809 shares on 16 and 117,052 shares on 18 November bringing the total holding to 50.15% from 49.17% previously. As of September 2015 Dhammika directly owned 46.8% and a further 2.91% via Vallibel One Plc.
