Chandra new CEO at Entrust Securities

Industry veteran Chandra Dias has been appointed as the new CEO of Entrust Securities Plc with effect from 3 January.

Prior to his new appointment, Chandra was the CEO of Natwealth Securities Ltd., between July 2005 and November 2012.

He was also the Head of Treasury and International at Pan Asia Bank from April 1998 to June 2005 and Head of Treasury, International Operations and Business Development at Public Bank Berhard Sri Lanka Branch fr4om March 1992 to March 1998.

Chandra began his financial services career at the Bank of Ceylon, where he served for 22 years from March 1970 to March 1992.

The new appointment follows the resignation of A.H.M. Riyaz as Group CEO and Executive Director at Entrust Securities from 20 December 2012.

A Central Bank approved primary dealer, Entrust Securities’ controlling shareholder is Entrust Ltd., holding an 89% stake.
