BOI holds EU Sri Lanka biz dialogue to take investment relations forward

The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka held a meeting with major stakeholders of the European Union including diplomats from member states of the European Union, honorary consuls representing EU countries and EU investors. Also included in the discussion were important line agencies such as the Urban Development Authority, Export Development Board, and Tourism Authority. This dialogue was a brainchild of Deputy Minister of Investment Promotion Faiszer Musthapha with the purpose of engaging Western European countries in order to address some of the issues relating to investing in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lanka-EU business dialogue, which is a monthly meeting, is an ongoing and continual process which will lead to improved perception of Sri Lanka’s investment climate.
