BOC open on 1 January

Bank of Ceylon will be open for business on 1 January 2012 as a special gesture from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the benefit of customers.

“While wishing all Sri Lankans a happy and prosperous New Year, we are extending our services by opening our branches and extension offices countrywide to serve our dedicated customers on Sunday, 1 January 2012,” a BOC spokesman said.

He said that existing and prospective customers could avail themselves of a special deposit offer at BOC by banking on the New Year.
