Asian Hotels, Trans Asia go for share sub division

Two of John Keells Holdings hotel companies Asian Hotels (AHOT) and Trans Asia Hotels Plc have separately announced share sub division moves.

Asian Hotels and Properties Plc Board has resolved to sub divide its shares into two increasing the number of shares in issue from approximately 221.387 million to 442.7 million.

Trans Asia Board has resolved to sub divide on the basis of one into two increasing the number of shares in issue from 100 million to 200 million.

Moves by both companies are subject to shareholder approval.
