Anilana ends lower on debut

The shares of Anilana Hotels and Properties which were issued at Rs. 12 via IPO made its debut trading yesterday. The share initially reached an intraday high of Rs. 13.50 during early hours of trading yet it gradually lost ground to an intraday low of Rs. 9.50 before closing at Rs. 10.50, down by 12.5%. Overall Anilana saw 1.17 million of its shares transacted via 554 trades for Rs. 14 million, thereby topping the list in terms of volume traded during the day.
