Amunugama to attend World Bank/IMF Annual Meetings 2013

Senior Minister for International Monetary Co-operation and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Sarath Amunugama will leave the island to attend the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the IMF on 6 October to Washington. Minister Amunugama will represent the Government of Sri Lanka at the Annual Meeting, which will be held from 8 to 12 October, and return on 13 October. He is expected to meet the Heads of the World Bank and IMF and also expected to have bilateral discussions  with Finance Ministers of India, Iran, Korea, Belgium and Qatar.
