AEC collects more Dialog shares

Associated Electrical Corporation Ltd. of Ajita De Zoysa fame has picked up more shares of Dialog Axiata Plc.

Last week around 11.76 million of Dialog shares traded for Rs. 72.3 million and AEC had bought six million of it at Rs. 6.10 each in a deal worth Rs. 36.6 million. The seller was Shankar Somasunderam.

As of 31 March 2012, AEC was the 15th largest shareholder of Dialog with 18.45 million shares or 0.23% and with last week’s additions is tipped to have moved to the 12th place. Dialog is the eighth most valuable company on the CSE.
