WindForce signs EPC contract for rooftop solar PV in Maldives

WindForce PLC last week entered into an Engineering, Procurement, and Commissioning (EPC) agreement with Joy Resort Ltd., for the implementation of a rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Joy Island, located in Kassanfushi, Kaafu Atoll, Maldives.

The installed capacity of the project is 383 kWp and the contract value is $ 297,389. The project will be completed within four months.

WindForce said this project aims to enhance the resort’s energy efficiency and reduce its reliance on fossil fuels, contributing to a lower carbon footprint. The initiative is in line with WindForce PLC’s strategic objective of expanding its renewable energy portfolio and supporting the transition to clean energy across the region.
