Vallibel’s 10 MW solar PV venture goes live in Dolahena Estate

Vallibel Power Erathna PLC yesterday said its 10 MW ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project at Dolahena Estate has commenced operations.

In a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange, the company said the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) in a letter dated 5 December has confirmed the commencement of commercial operations with effect from 10 September.

The 10 MW project was implemented as two separate 5 MW installations. Both 5 MW plants were connected to the national grid on 10 September upon completion of the requisite CEB processes and in accordance with the executed Standardised Power Purchase Agreements.
