Union Assurance PLC yesterday said that it has divested its 22% equity stake in Fairfirst Insurance Ltd., for Rs. 2.64 billion.
The stake, comprising 30.8 million ordinary shares, was sold to Fairfax Asia Ltd., a subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd., which is also the largest shareholder of John Keells Holdings PLC.
