Sri Lanka’s unemployment rate has dipped to 3.8% in the first quarter according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) from 4.5% a year ago. In 2024, the rate was 4.4%.
It also said the Labour Force Participation Rate increased to 49.7% in Q1 2025 from 47.1% in Q1 2024.
