The State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe said the Treasury released Rs. 5 billion to State banks to disburse Aswesuma welfare payments to beneficiaries. He also said a special meeting will be held today (29) between Finance Ministry officials and State Bank officers to solve all technical issues regarding the disbursement of funds.
