Edelweiss, the leisure airline of Swiss International Air Lines and a member of the Lufthansa Group, will launch direct flights between Zurich and Colombo starting today until the end of May 2026.
The airline will offer two weekly flights operated by an Airbus A340, featuring 27 Business, 76 Premium Economy, and 211 Economy Class seats with full-service onboard experience.
This new route will provide travelers with seamless connections via Zurich to SWISS/ Edelweiss’s extensive network across Europe and North America, enhancing connectivity between Sri Lanka and key global markets. The addition of Colombo to the Edelweiss route map underscores the airline’s commitment to expanding its leisure travel offerings and supporting tourism to Sri Lanka.
Flight will arrive at 1015hrs to Colombo and Departs at 1145hrs on both Tuesdays and Saturdays.
