Softlogic picks up 3.5% Asiri Holdings stake for Rs. 1.12 b

Softlogic Holdings Plc on Monday paid Rs. 1.12 billion for a 3.5% additional stake in Asiri Hospital Holdings Plc.

Asiri saw 40.28 million of its shares traded for over Rs. 1 billion. Of that quantity Softlogic Holdings picked up 40.14 million shares at Rs. 28 each.

Asiri Holdings’ share price closed at Rs. 29.40, up by 30 cents. LF Ruffer Pacific and Emerging Markets Fund was the seller.

Prior to Monday, Softlogic directly held a 50.54% stake in Asiri and after the purchase it has increased to slightly over 54%.
