Siyapatha Finance to raise Rs. 4 b via listed debenture issue

Siyapatha Finance PLC has announced plans to raise Rs. 4 billion via a listed debenture issue.

It said the company’s Board resolved to issue 40 million listed, rated, subordinated, unsecured, redeemable debentures of Rs. 100 each to raise a maximum of Rs. 4 billion.

The said debentures have a tenor of five years and carry an interest rate in compliance with the guidelines of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

The debenture issue will be subject to obtaining all related approvals from the relevant regulatory bodies and the company proposes to have these debentures listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange.
