  • Wins Youth Choice Brand of the Year and Durable Brand of the Year as well

Singer Sri Lanka PLC, the country’s premier consumer durables retailer, clinched three prominent awards at the recent SLIM-KANTAR People’s Awards 2022, organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM). 

These wins reiterate Singer’s dominance in the consumer durables sphere and the popularity of the brand in Sri Lanka. 

For the 16th consecutive year, Singer was crowned as the “SLIM KANTAR People’s Brand of the Year” topping off a memorable night for the retail giant in a night full of glamour and entertainment. Forging its way to yet another remarkable achievement, Singer clinched the coveted “SLIM-KANTAR People’s Durables Brand of the Year” award as well, reaffirming its position as Sri Lanka’s premier consumer durables retailer. 

Continuing its winning streak, Singer also re-claimed the “SLIM KANTAR People’s Youth Choice Brand of the Year” award recognising Singer’s renewed focus on appealing to the youth via a targeted communication strategy and the introduction of modern products suitable for the ever-evolving needs of the youth.

The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) the national body for marketing in Sri Lanka in partnership with reputed research agency, Kantar, conducts these annual awards to recognise brands and personalities who truly command a strong share of heart. The scientific research covers a robust sample across the entire country covering all provinces and age groups.
