Shermans Logistics signs strategic MoU with Indian giant Glottis

Glottis Ltd., and Shermans Logistics have entered into a strategic collaboration aimed at unlocking new business opportunities across logistics, renewable energy, and allied sectors in India and Sri Lanka.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed yesterday in Colombo between Esna Group Chairman Eshana De Silva and Glottis Head – Business Development Rajkumar R.

Shermans Logistics is a joint venture between the Esna Group and McLarens Group, and is primarily in the business of global freight forwarding and logistics.

Headquartered in Chennai, Glottis has a strong operational presence across key logistics hubs in India and internationally.

Glottis Ltd., is a publicly listed entity in both the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India.

This partnership is designed to leverage the complementary strengths of both organisations to develop efficient supply chains, expand regional trade flows, and explore long-term joint venture (JV) opportunities.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards strengthening India–Sri Lanka trade corridors, advancing renewable energy logistics, and building integrated supply chain solutions across the region. The companies will focus on project cargo, renewable energy logistics, automotive, chemical, 3PL, and freight forwarding, offering end-to-end solutions.
