Sajith to be Opp. Leader

• RW agrees to decision at meeting with UNF leaders
• Speaker apprised of decision

MP Sajith Premadasa would be nominated to the post of Leader of the Opposition as per an understanding established between UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and leaders of political parties who make up the United National Front (UNF), it was disclosed yesterday.

The decision was confirmed at a meeting with Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, where both Wickremesinghe and Premadasa were in attendance, MP Mano Ganesan said on his twitter handle @ManoGaneshan.
