Sajith informs Lord Naseby of Lanka’s plight from Govt. failure

Main Opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) leader Sajith Premadasa this week informed the visiting Lord Michael Morris Naseby of Sri Lanka’s plight owing to serious failure on the part of the Government.

“Everything, including the country’s economy, is suffering a serious setback due to improper actions of the Government,” Premadasa said during the meeting with Lord Naseby, a senior member of the Conservative Party in Britain and former Deputy Speaker of the British Parliament.

Premadasa also stated that a sustainable and premeditated program is needed to rebuild the country out of the current crisis and that it needs the right guidance. 

He said that it is not practical to build the country in any other way except through a scientific method which excludes myth.

The current situation in Sri Lanka was discussed at length at the meeting with Lord Naseby.

SJB Members of Parliament Eran Wickramaratne and Niroshan Perera were also present at the occasion.
